Giving

If you want to help sustain the creation of Houstonian-generated choreography, or to support Sara Draper Dance projects in particular, you have found the right page!

Your financial support of any amount brings SDD closer to meeting these objectives:

  • To pay talented, local, free-lance dancers a fair wage

  • To create dances and interdisciplinary works that are meaningful for our time and delightful to watch

  • To play a part in helping to lift spirits and bring about healing for audience members

  • To assist with fair financial support for the choreographer and other  local creatives/collaborative partners

How much should I donate?

Financial contributions to the current project or for general support are received with deep gratitude, no matter the size. From $10 to $100 or more, every dollar goes to create art for Houstonians and to support local artists.

For what, specifically, will my donation be used?

At this time, donations pay for artist fees and studio rental in the creative process of the current Sara Draper Dance interdisciplinary project.  This project explores healing wounds between men and women.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Presently, donations to Sara Draper Dance are not tax deductible. This may change for future projects.

Thank you for supporting your local dance artists!

You are our shining star!
